Don't know what a watershed mark is? Look it up on dictionary.com. So hard, I know. Well, anyway, we all have them. But I never thought one would come from a friend's presentation.... Believe it or not, I hadn't until yesterday (Friday) heard of the Manson murders. Really interesting topic though. Gory and all that. My friend suggested I watch some youtube videos on Manson, they were definitely interesting. Now I can't wait until I take Pyche this coming symester. I've always been interesting in Pyche, but now I'm really interested. Hopefully the class isn't just a bunch of things I already know, but some new stuff. Maybe I'll even take IB Pyche if I really like it.... Huh, I go from writing to chem to pyche. By the way, if pyche is wrong, please tell me, I never seem to get a single comment, probably because it's just a journal of what seems important and interesting to me. These are my actual thoughts for anyone who cares. The Butterfly Effect.... Kick a** movie, as long as you're mature enough. Go rent it/watch it if you haven't, just as long as you can handle actual adult themes, the kinds of things teens joke about, knowing the whole time how serious it is, but joking around about it because it hasn't happened to you personally.... Yes, those things. It really makes you think. I'm in an awfully thoughtful mood, even for myself. It's because of that movie's director's cut ending. I won't ruin the ending for anyone who hasn't seen it, but the idea that you could choose to go back and take your life is well... provacative, intriuging.... Definitely a thought-worthy topic. It makes you think about all those.... I won't say what I mean by "those", you'll know if you've seen the director's cut of the movie. Well, I suppose I should say "directors'" cut since there were two directors.... And a big thank you and congratulations if you've read this whole thing. I suppose I should keep the tradition of asking a question.... What's one of your watershed marks?
No smileys.... Strange. But I am in a thoughtful mood.... Well, I feel that I can express myself without smileys all the time, but they are a useful visual aid to those who can't understand the very language which they speak. How sad for those of us who can't understand the words being said to us, despite the fact that we know the language. But, knowing what something is and understanding how it works are completely different things, the latter being mojre difficult to grasp.
