I rote a Rurouni Kenshin fanfiction ^^ tell me how you like it ^^ I juts did it yesterday! xp

It was one of the most hotest day's of summer, and all the streets in Tokyo seemed to be deserted." I must be the only insane person brave enough to actually walk in this kind of heat." A young blue eyed girl said to herself.

The heat was starting to get unbarable, and Kaoru still had at least four more blocks to go, before she reached the dojo. " If only I hadn't needed to work at that other dojo today, but we were getting way too low on money. How would I be able to feed my family if I didn't have a job to support them. I wish Sanosuke got off his lazy a** for once in his life to help out around the dojo, or at least find a paying job to help out with food. Kami-sama... It's like me and Kenshin are the only ones who actually do work aound the house in order to keep things in oraginized."

" Is it me or is the sun just beating down at me today for being a hard working woman." Kaoru wipes the sweat of her neck and face, while at the same time trying to balance a bucket of tofo. She continues to make her way slowly to the dojo while kicking up dust along with her geta.

A red headed rurouni pushes his hair out the way of his eye's, as he lifts his head to the sky in order to fingure out the time. " I should soon start making luch for kaoru-dono and Yahiko-kun." He sinks his hands back into the water bin to finish washing out the last remaing soap suds from Yahiko's Yukata.

It was jsut on of those day's were every single minute were likely to drag on for more then an a regular hour. That's how hot day's felt like to Kenshin, anyway. " maybe this is the perfect moment to bring out the water melon I bought yeaterday. I know Yahiko won't be home until dinner since he's working at the akobeko this afternoon, and I most definantly that Sano is out gambling. So I guess it's just me and Kaoru-dono this afternoon."

Kenshin finally gets up from where he was working, and pats off all the dirt he collected on his hamaka while he was washing the clothes. He starts heading inside od the house, just before he notices a piete raven haired woman walking through the front door with a bucket of tofu in one hand.

Kenshin stands still as he settles his pruple eye's on her face. Her face looks flush from walking in this hot heat, because it looks like her eyes are slightly glazed over. ' Kaoru must of thought that she wasn't going to make it all the way to the way home from that other dojo she had to go too. She really looked exhausted, the way her hair was slightly clinging to her face made her look like she went for a swim in the lake first.'

" Kaoru-dono, are you feeling alright. Here let me help you with that."

"Kenshin, I'm so happy to see you. I feel like I being roasted over a fire in this heat." She hands Kenshin the bucket of tofo.

"Maybe you should wait a little while before going back to work at that other dojo acroos town?" Kenshin replied, with slightly worried eyes.

" Then who do expect to pay for the food." Kaoru sanpped back.

"well maybe this one will find a job in order to help you out. That way you won't have to exert yourself so much." Kenshin said, while helping her into the house. " This one, will set up a bath for you so you can relax."

"Kenshin that's really kind of you; however, I can draw up my own bath water. why don't you just start on the lunch...that way we can eat as soon as I get freshen up." Kaoru further replied; while walking quickly away from Kenshin.

Kenshin let his breath out, not even knowing that he was holding it. "something must have happened today at the other dojo, because it isn't like Kaoru to be this upset, even in this kind of heat. I'll have to ask her about it later, that I will." Kenshin said to himself, while still looking in the direction in which Kaoru dispeared in.

AN: wow...it's been a long while since I've wrote a RK fic ^^ hehe...anywho, tell me what yuor thought were good or bad. ( remember, I do not and I REPEAT I do not have the greatest spelling or grammer in the world. If you noticed little mistakes such as that, it's most likely becaise I don't use Microsoft Word...
