...In America!
...Okay, so I guess I can't even cheer myself up right now. -_-
Last night, I drove my car from school, which was where I posted my previous Journal entry, to my other school where we have our D&D Club meetings. My car kept falling into neutral again, only this time more and more and not just when I was accelerating. I was able to get there in one piece and had an okay meeting with my friends.
Here's where everything good that day gets crushed in an instant:
While I was trying to drive home, I noticed my car was getting progressively worse. At one point in time, my car even shut down at a signal light. I do my best, driving my car as safely as possible from school to get home, when I get the feeling something in my car either exploded or just fell out the back of my car. It rolls to a stop in the middle of the road, one that isn't very traveled, thankfully. I get the car to the curb with the help of my father and younger brother, who arrive there to assist after I called them and told them where I was, and leave it there for the night.
Morning comes around and I find myself staying home because of what feels like something trying to rip my stomach apart. (For the record, I'm feeling somewhat better now.) Word gets back from the car repair shop about my car.
It seems a part of the Transmission blew apart, causing me to leak Transmission fluid all over the place. That's what destroyed my car. The saving grace of all this, was that the car repair place that we took it to (Vo's, which is not to be confused with the Administrator here at Gaia) is willing to repair the transmission for $1,400. Compared to Master Tech, who where going to charge $3,000, that's a blessing.
So now...until we can muster up the money, I no longer have a car. -_-
