Nate's Madness
My random typings. Enjoy!!
Gadzooks!! A snag!!
I'm in conflict. My story character, Lash Lancaster (ask me for details), Is a vampire hunter with a bit of a ******** up past thats left him emotionally scarred and seriously screwed up. He has Big, ******** chains that are tipped with very sharp pointy metal things. Here's the question:

Half of the story I've written is based off of an RP thread. Should I stick with that and have the actual story take place in the location of the thread (In this case, a big mansion in the middle of a forest somewhere) or have it document part of his past, and only mention the Mansion in the epilouge.

Honestly, it's a real pain in the a** to use RP thread information and incorporate it in a book. Especially if you want it published. You have to get the name, address, and signiature of the parcipates of the threads, giving you the rights to thier ideas. And if they don't want to freely, you must be able to make a deal with them, stating that they will get a certain percent of the profits, if it were to ever become published. Also, you will more then likely have to place thier names somewhere inside the book, giving them credit to what they have written, especially if you use a direct quote.

My advice: Stick to your own stuff. WAY easier.
