There is this event at my school where 1 or 2 people form one community go to the Professional Learning Room to do a Geo Bee. It's like a spelling bee only it's a geography bee (maps, landforms, history, etc.). You took a test in your classroom to determine who would go. I had the less mistakes in my class crying . Alice(Melanie) told me it was obvious that made it even worse -_-llll . I didn't want to do it!!! The next day Mr. Jones told me the info I needed to know. During 4th academic I had to do this class elimination thingy to see if I could go to the actual thing. I bet I seemed weird cause if I knew the answer I would turn around quickly to write down the answer as if I was going to forget it if I didn't write it down soon. I had to work on my choking poster for health because I had to miss it to go (YESH!!!). THe next morning in homeroom I took my time to look at a couple of maps. If I could have the basic outline of the contient in my head I had a better chance. I had to stop at Mr. Jone's room to make sure I was going; I didn't know. I went all the way down to the Lower Media Center (we have two levels to our library). I was the only girl there -_-ll . And to make it worse Philip was there!!! Luckily another girl came so I wasn't alone with all those boys *shivers* ! I sat down next to her. Philip came next to me and pointed to Eclipse and said it was a good book. I just nodded; I didn't expect him to compliment the book. We had to tell them our name and homeroom teacher. i was having troubles. Mrs. Williams came. She asked me to talk to her. I gathered my stuff and followed her out. She told me I was an alternative instead. I said okay and went up the stairs. I was miserable. Why did I have to go all the way down there and embarass myself to find out I wasn't doing it? I wanted to do it sssooo badly and I mean I evened studied for it. I was relieved that I didn't have to do it but it was the first time that I have ever get to do something like that. I also felt sorry for Sherry (other girl) that she was the only girl there. I went to Mrs. Harrison's room for health. I went to Ms. Bagwell (health teacher) and explained why I was late. Mrs. Harrison was there getting ready to leave. Mrs. Harrison and Ms. Bagwell congradulated me for even getting in the geo bee. I went to my seat. We were working on the choking posters but I already finished. I colored it in since I was to tired to do it the day before. At the end of the period Katie asked me with questiong eyes about the geo bee. I mouthed the words I didn't do it. She didn't comeprehend so I told her on the way out. In science Mr. Jones apologized that I didn't get to do it. They should've just let me do it anyway. I said it's okay. Alice put her hand on my shoulder "It's okay!" I said maybe a little to loud. I raced to the bus like always to beat Trinh. I won like always. I was still bummed but I was a little better.
