through the opening in the apprentices den i could c starpaw bouncing as high as he could with his injuredleg in the medicine den.it was almost moonhigh wich ment that it was almost tiime for starpaw to become sunleafs apprentice.but on the other end of the clearing, i could c father talking to brownfeather. i new wat they were talking about. it was about the dead fox that was seen on our territory. wen father came bak with darkwolf yesterday after going again 2 look at the dead fox, father had announced to the clan that it had ben a twoleg trap that had killed it. but i new that he was not telling the whole truth. so after most had gone to sleep i krept out of my den and padded towards my fathers. firepelt was on watch. he must have heard me because he turned around and looked at and asked were i was going. i told him i was going to check on my brother. i hated lying to him, but i felt like i had to.after that i padded into fathhers den and i saw him awake, his head on his paws. i no wat your hear for i heard him say to me. his voice just barely a whisper. then he said a little more loudly, i remember you bieng this cuorious about everything wen u were a pup. there was a hint of amusment in his eyes. then wat am i hear for? i retorted. your hear to ask more about the wolf. he said simply.and r u goign 2 tell jme? i asked. mayb, mayb not.PLeAze TelL mE!i begged.ok.
went darkwolf and i found the wolf again, i noticed a goey liquid lying in a around the fox were the trap had grabbed it by its neck, and i remember at the gathering,dark pack were saying that 3 of there wolves had died due 2 this liqued coming out of the traps.im suprised he would admit that! i said, nowing that dark pack want the friendliest pack in the forest. after the gathering, i asked windmoon and icemoon about the liqued, they said that they hadnt seen any. so ow im worried that the towlegs are coming and taking more and more of our territory. thats wen i understood y he was so worried and thats wat he and brownfeather are talking about.i just hope that he isnt distracted during starpaws ceremony.i looked at mother grooming starpaw and see that she is happy now. she looks very proud of starpaw. sometimes i wonder of my worth 2 the clan. i feel very lonely without starpaw and now that he is going 2 be a medicine wolf, i feel like he is helping out the clan more than me. starpack help me!
