Taylor yawns and looks up at the clock. There is still a half hour left of school. That meanst he has only been in class an hour. It feels more like a year. He rests his chin on his hand. With his other hand he picks up a pen and continues the story he is writing on the paper that he is supposed to hand in at the end of class. It would not get handed in at the end. In fact, he probally would never hand it in.
“Taylor, here’s your test”. Taylor looks up at his teacher, then at his test score.
“Another failing mark Taylor” says his teacher. He nods and goes back to his doodle. So what? He thought. At the end of this year, I’ll be out of this school and free. I don’t need to be a genius to make it in life.
“I think you should come see me after class Taylor” He rolls his eyes.
“Yes ma’am.” There go his plans for that afternoon. He looks at the quiz, yep, another failing mark. Ah well, maybe he would study for the next one. “Yeah.” He whispered to himself. “That’s highly likley”. From beside him his friend whisperes back to him smiling. “Talking to yourslef again Taylor? That’s the first sign of going crazy”. Taylor smiles back at his one and only friend. “Will you wait up for me after school?”
“course I will, I’ve got nothing better to do. It’s not like I was invited to the party.”
“there’s another party?” He nodded. Taylor rolled his eyes. The popular students in his class were always having partys. Taylor and his friend were never invited.
