People who reviewed thank a bunch like. Frying Pan of Doom, my first reviewer, thanks you for your helpful pointers and comments. And to everyone who reviewed thank you all. The voting will close in two days after my update. Sorry but if you want this story to progress than I need you to vote. In my reviews it seems that people want it to be a Sapphire Serena story. If you want a good Serena Seiya story you should check out a story Rescue Me. Well if you didn't get it this is a betrayal story. So if you don't like it then go back now because I'm definitely not changing my story. Flames will be deleted. Remember flames are totally different from criticism. Now on with the story you've been waiting for! (I hope)

She quickly scanned the scene before her. She saw Super Sailor Mars who was sporting a broken ankle while summoning her attack. Serena watched as Rei carefully plotted her moves concentrating hard on trying not to hit Tuxedo Mask who was fighting the youma.

Serena's eyes shifted to Tuxedo Mask. He was fighting the youma but every attack he tried bounced off he was suddenly blown away and Super Sailor Mars (I'm going to call all the super sailors SS mars or SS Mercury e.t.c) used this moment to launch her attack. “Mars Fire Surround!” The attack was headed straight for the youmas head when she suddenly whipped her tail in front of her face and immediately the attack dissipated.

The youma was a stray from the Dark Moon Family. After they were defeated they were always the loose underlings that went astray. It was a mystery to Serena why she hadn't noticed the power in the youma before.

The youma resembled a snake. Her skin past her navel was a jet black and was covered in scales which were a huge contrast with her snow white skin. Her ruby red lips were thin and when she talked you could see a slimy forked tongue. Her eyes were dull and pitch back with no pupil. Her hair was silver and came to her frail shoulders. All in all she was very beautiful but looked nothing but a lifeless doll.

Serena looked toward the cherry blossom tress and saw Min slumped against a tree with Artemis and Luna hanging from a branch above her. Lita was taking care of Ami who looked she had a few broken ribs.

I can't take anymore of this. I have to help my scouts. Serena whispered she knew she would have no time transform so she sprinted in at a close range. The youma smirked at her and flicked her tongue. “So Onyxia (pronounced on-icks-ee-ah) has a new friend to play with. This will be fun.” Serena didn't answer instead she called her attack. “Silver Surround” It was expected she would die but instead all Onyxia did was guard herself with her tail.

Serena clicked her earring twice. “Password” a voice said in her voice “Tranquility” Serena replied. Instantly a silver visor appeared in front of her. “Search opponent's weakness, computer” “Task accepted.” Numbers flashed on the screen before Serena's eyes. Than an arrow appeared and pointed to the small of Onyxia's back. “Weakness spotted” Serena barely heard it because she was already lunging for the kill.

-With the Scouts-

“Where the hell did she learn that?” SS Mars screamed she comes out of nowhere and she’s not transformed, and she has this new attack, look she has a visor on. When did se learn to do this.” By now SS Mars was screaming. That is until a new interrupted her. “You could have fooled me.” All the conscious senshi whipped their heads towards the voice. It was none other than SS Uranus in all her glory. The other outer scouts were behind her. SS Neptune spoke up. “I can’t believe she hasn’t told of us her powers. Not to mention putting all of you in danger, arriving late.” Sailor Pluto added her two cents “It surprises even me she had this ability I had not foreseen this ad the time gates.”

-With Serena-

“Think Serena, think. She’s a youma but she’s still a snake no matter what. What do snakes hate? That’s it cold. Snakes hate the cold. She immediately created her attack. “Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!” Her fingers moved above her head and Sailor Mercury’s attack appeared and the snake was frozen before she even had the chance to defend herself. Serena didn’t stopped there she launched into her next attack.

“Destiny Destruction!” Smoke erupted from Onyxia’s body after it cleared all that was left was a pile of ashes and a piece of jagged onyx lay. The senshi watched in awe as Serena walked to the pile of ashes. She picked up the jewel and purified it she soon tossed it into her sub-space pocket.

Serena was about to walk away when the scouts and Darien walked up to her, Lita carrying the unconscious Mina on her back. Serena stopped and turned around. “What do you want Amara?” “I want to know why you won’t talk to us. At first you wouldn’t come to the scout meetings, and you won’t even talk to us anymore. How can we protect you if we don’t know where you are?”

“Serena, Amara is right. Ever since chaos you’ve been acting weird, you won’t even talk to me anymore. We’re destined to be together, don’t you understand?” Trista (Sailor Pluto if you don’t know her American name) added in “Serena you must know that if Crystal Tokyo is to arise you and Darien must be together. For Rini and for the peace of the whole world it I for-“Trista didn’t get to finish her sentence Serena had her head down and was shaking. Darien went over to hold her but she swatted his hand away.

“Destiny is stupid. I wasn’t destined to be a warrior but here I am as Sailor Moon. Queen Beryl wasn’t destined to revive herself but she did. No one ever asks how I feel. Darien, you were dating Rei and she was dating you, it was only after seeing our past was when you were supposedly in love with me. Rini is supposed to be our daughter. What if I don’t want to have sex with you, what are you going to do about it?”

“Serena why are you acting so selfish, can’t you see we have to make sacrifices. We all have to make sacrifices if we want to have the Utopia we all want. Don’t be so selfish!” Rei lashed out.

“Well I don’t need any of your protection, maybe it was my mother’s fault for letting us be reborn and bringing all these retched enemies with us.” Serena turned her eye away so they wouldn’t see the tears in her glazed eyes.

“Don’t you dare talk about your mother that way. You know she meant better for you, Darien, and the scouts.” Luna winced as she leaped to the ground, Artemis not far behind her. “Serena the time is coming for Crystal Tokyo to arise, there is no time for these useless arguments.” “No, no, no! If Crystal Tokyo is to try to come the word will go in to a freeze. I’ll reverse it with my powers. What is Crystal Tokyo, anyway? There is no such thing as Utopia. There will always be peril somewhere. I don’t need to be Sailor Moon if I don’t want to. I don’t need your protection and I don’t need your help.”

Rei I spoke up (again) “Serena I don’t know what you’re doing or why you’re doing it but you need to known how hard I fought for this peace. You just can’t quit!” “I can and I will.” “Serena don’t you walk away from us.” Amara commanded “If you do you’ll be walking away from the scouts away from your duty Serena.” Serena smirked “I’ll be walking away from this destiny. But before I leave I want to here the other scouts, not just you and Rei.”

“So be it. Amy what do you think.” All eyes moved to the shy bluenette haired girl. She immediately looked away unused to all the attention. “I’m so sorry Serena. I want to see Utopia and I know we can accomplish it…..She paused “even if it’s without you.” Serena sighed. “Michelle is there anything you have to say?” “No I stand by what Amara has said fully.”

“I guess you are all entitled to your own opinion. What about you Lita?” Lita looked away to ashamed to speak. “I don’t like that I have to choose, but I agree with Ami. You love Darien, Darien loves you. Why can’t you be happy with all of that? Serena we are you’re protectors, we were meant to protect you. I can’t understand why al of this is still not enough. I’m sorry but just don’t want t protect someone who doesn’t want to be protected.”

“So you know how I feel Lita. I have to protect this whole universe, even the people, like you said, don’t want to be protected.”

“You guys must understand there will never be Utopia. Ever. Darien, do you have anything to say?” He didn’t reply but as she moved on he whispered something that stopped in her tracks. If you go you’ll kill Rini.” he walked closer to him until she could feel his breath on hers. Don’t pull that on me I loved her as my child, not yours, not ours, mine. She lives with me inside and whatever connection you think you have with is nothing compared to what we had.

She turned and looked at the unconscious Mina. “Well it’s just you Mina now.” She pointed her hand at the sleeping girl and immediately her eyes snapped open.

“What’s going on?” “Mina the scouts want to kick me out of the group. I just wanted to make sure all of you felt the same way. Really didn’t want to rush you into this. Make your decision.” Mina buried her face in her hands. “I was hurt if it wasn’t for Lita pushing me out of the way I could have been killed and you weren’t there. I’m sorry I want someone who is willing to be there.”

“I guess I have on more things to say before I go.” She walked towards Amara stalking her slowly. She was a few feet away from the group and called softly.

“Firefly.” “Sere-chan!” A tiny voice called. Serena giggled when Hotaru appeared in front of Serena. She leaped into her arms and buried her head into the crook of her neck. She spoke to her telepathically

“Hota-chan I will always talk to you in our special place.”

“Where is that Sere-chan?”

“Your mind, the one place I will always be. See you later Hota-chan.”

A strong wind blew and the Hotaru ran behind Michelle as the wind grew stronger. Dust flew everywhere and everyone was forced to close their eyes. When the wind stopped and the dust cleared Serena was gone.

-With Serena-

Serena was born alone and was then left on the Tsukino’s doorstep. The family accepted her and she was aware that she had no family except them. She knew they were kind-hearted enough to take her in but she knew they would never truly be her family. She was the perfect little girl, straight A’s, a Daddy’s girl.

But when she became a Sailor Scout she had youmas com after her when didn’t have her communicator with her. It was essential that she put up a façade to make sure that her enemies wouldn’t think that she could ever be a princess. She knew from experience there will always be someone watching. She quickly packed all of her belongings. Thinking back on her past with the Sailor Scouts she couldn’t help but feel bitter. Now that she thought about it there were always telling her what to do.

“They were always telling m what to do it was my destiny to get married to Darien, rule the galaxy, and have Rini. But even though I can fly I’m tied down by destiny. I jut want to get away and never return.

Serena stuffed her things into her suitcase and threw them into her sub-space pocket. I can’t wait to get out of here. She looked at her room. It still had her pink bunny sheets and her moon wall paper. She took out a piece of paper and began to write a note to her “family”.

Dear Mom, Dad, and Sammy,

I know I’m not your real daughter. You’ve treated m with such kindness. I know I’m only sixteen. I have decided not to go to college and leave Tokyo. Don’t worry about me. I thank you so much for your hospitality towards me. When I return I will reveal all to you. Thank you,

Serena

Serena read as she wrote the letters, but she quickly dried her tears. I just have to see one very last person. She didn’t want the scouts recognizing her if she wanted to go out. She wanted to avoid drama.

She took out her long golden hair and put it up into a ponytail. She used the Luna-pen to change her clothes into brand new ones. She was wearing a black halter top with faded black jeans and a pair of back flips flops. She added two wisps of hair in front of her face.

She jogged out of her house. As she walked out of the house she saw the streets of Tokyo. I hope this the last time I have to go through this ever again. She walked in and heard the familiar bell of the Crown Arcade. She sat at the counter and ordered. “I’ll have a diet Pepsi please, Andy.” “Andy- Serena!”

The man whipped around and gathered Serena into his arms. Over the months you’ve been coming less and less. I was worried. Oh Andy I have so much to tell you in so little time.” “What do you mean Serena? I can give you all the time in the world.” “Oh Andy I’m so sorry but, ‘m not going to be here tomorrow. I need to tell you something before I go. Let’s go somewhere private though.” “Let’s go to the storage room in the back.”

She quickly followed her to the back room while he told Elizabeth (his sister the waitress) to man the store.

“Serena what’s going on, your acting weird.” He placed his hands on her shoulders. “Well I’m Sailor Moon.” At first Serena thought he would think she was crazy but instead he did something unexpected. He laughed at her. She sighed and whispered her transformation.

“Moon Dream Transformation (can someone please tell me her transformations in a review please.)Suddenly, in a flash of blinding lights and pink ribbons stood Sailor Moon.

“What do you think Andy?” She stood as he tried to get his composure. “Serna I don’t know what to say.” She checked her watch “You don’t have to say anything. Whenever you need me take this it was a mirror with a white rose. Just say my name, and listen to this locket to know about al I cannot tell you.
