A beautiful sound
That stirs into the night,
Pounding the shoreline
In a rushing grace,
Moving as a single flame.
Everlasting, powerful waves
Its only voice,
Always keeping count
Of its admirers,
Still inspiring many a far.
A breathtaking, dangerous force
Of precision,
Guiding an army of one,
Following a single fluid march
To the shore,
I wish someday to be part of it.
