Yesterday, I went to Pet Central with my boyfriend to pick up some items for his bearded dragon. While we were there, I saw that they had three chinchillas for sale. I've always wanted an exotic pet like that, and so I decided to hold it for a while.
Robert came up with the grand idea of getting one... that very day! I argued at first, saying that I didn't have the $300+ for one (the pet itself costs $130). We talked it over and I finally came to the decision that we'd use his credit card and pay it off with my State Tax return (which I have to file yet).
So, I now have a rambunctious 4-month old chinchilla named Rascal. I'm gonna take some pictures of him today and hopefully post them in the journal here.
