"Sky?! Are you even listening to me?! Ugh, you are so annoying sometimes you know that?" shouted my mom. I opened my eyes. I was back in my room. My mom was still applying ointment on my back. I stood up. "Hey! I still need to apply more on your arms!" said my mom. "Not now," I have to go," I stated, pulling down my shirt. This has gone long enough. I walked out of my house and went to Jake's. I tried ringing the door, but no one answered. I sighed and went back to my house. When I went in my room, my mom was taking a shower. This was going to be a slow week. I had nothing else to do, but to do the thing I've never gotten to do in years. Organize my closet. Ugh, thinking about that made me shiver. I'm not really an organized person at all. But there was absolutely nothing esle to do. I will certainly not start on my homework that's for sure. Usually, when I'm bored to death, I would my call best friend, Anna. But wait, she's not my best friend anymore. So I'm back at being all alone once again. I started cleaning out by my closet by throwing out useless stuff.
When I was removing this little music box, I didn't realize it was at the bottom of a huge mountain of clothes and knick-knacks I stored away a long time ago. "Ahhhh!!!!" I yelled, as they piled onto me. When I got out, something catched my eye. It was an old, dusty gift box. On it, was a card. The edges were yellowed and looked ancient. I opened the card and gasped. Even though the writing was faint, I could still read it. Happy Birthday Jake! I opened the present. It was the game station Jake always wanted. It was a Psp. I spent nearly every cent of my money to get him this. But he probably has a bunch of them at his house. I put it aside and started to clean up the mess that I made. I looked through all my old stuff, and I saw many things that Jake have gave me in the past. Cards, candy, notes, and many other things. Then I picked up a velvet heart shaped box. It was dusty and the red looked like pink instead. I opened it and was gasped again. It was a charm bracelet. Jake gave it to me for Valentine's Day. He must have spent a fortune on this bracelet. It looked so beautiful and I wanted to put it on so badly. But I couldn't. I didn't know why, but I just couldn't. On the bracelet were the letters, L-O-V-E. Filled with anger, I threw the bracelet on my door. I guess my mom heard the noise and went into my room to see what was going on. "What happened in here?" she asked, with a worried face. "Nothing, just nothing," I replied, about to put the bracelet in the trashcan. "Hey! Now wait just a minute there! Are you throwing away a charm bracelet? Give me that," my mom ordered, coming over to me. I sighed and reluctantly gave her the bracelet. She examined it for a few minutes, and then she was surprised.
"Jake gave this to you didn't he?" she asked, holding up the bracelet. My eyes bugged out, since when did she know that?? "Umm, I guess so," I answered, taking back the bracelet. "Then why in the world are you throwing it away in the trashcan?? Yuo know, back in my day, this stuff would be worth thousands of dollars!" she exclaimed, taking the bracelet back.
I rolled my eyes, knowing that she was going to tall me a very boring story about her when she was my age. But she actually didn't do that. Instead, she stood up and went for the door. Before she closed the door behind her, she said, "It's your choice, Sky. You know, its never too late to apologize to Jake."
