People have many ideas of what the purpose of dreams are. Some belive it's a way of figuring out how to deal with stuff in our life, others think it's just something to keep our minds busy while we sleep. The Scientific reason for why dreams happen is when light hits your closed eyes it sends images to the brain witch creats dreams. Even dreams that seem like they lasted the whole night were only a few seconds long in reality. That doesn't mean that dreams can't have a purpose though. I'v never understood how something thats made from light hitting your closed eyes can keep you thinking for days, or at least some do that to me. I don't have dreams about pretty rainbows or children playing though, I have dreams about parents dieing and living on odd islands with weired people. But any who this is just something thats been on mymind lately and i thought I'd wright it down somewhere, if anyone reads this let me know your opinions on dreams....it would mean alot to me...
