This will require backstory - I know that, I'm not stupid. But as Aku and I only just got on board and Rose promised to show us around, I have maybe five minutes to get this in. Though why I'm even doing this I don't even know...really, who's ever going to read it? And even if they did, who would believe it?
The lot at LINDA. LINDA would believe it. But they won't be seeing it for a while.
Aku and I ran into the Doctor today - that bloke Ursula was telling us about last time we went for a visit. Imagine our surprise when we ran into him state-side, and in Days of Knights no less! (Don't ask why we were there; I don't even remember myself.) Point is, as Aku's gonna burst in any moment, we ran into him. We even helped him and his girlfriend save Main Street (and that really requires backstory...). And then he was just gonna leave us, but Aku wouldn't let him.
She whined at him, and he kept saying no and mentioning someone named Adam, and then Rose put her foot down and said we were coming along. (He's so whipped. He'll deny it 'til the cows come home, but he is whipped - Aku says it's love. I say it's both, not like they'd admit it, though...)
Point is, I really don't think you leave home planning on running away. And it's not really running away, as we'll back...well, he said he can make it so only twelve hours have passed - Rose says his hours are months. So we'll have to see. But for now, we're on board a time/space ship heading for...anywhere, and Rose is giving us the grand tour.
But yeah...I really should give backstory. Maybe tomorrow (if we can figure out when 'tomorrow' is exactly - Rose said time gets a bit away from you in here...).
All I know is, this is gonna be fantastic.
