A place where I write some short-stories and poems.
The King
The King was a man of about thirty-four,
He had ten fingers, ten toes and no more.
His nose was straight but not too long,
His ears liked to hear the sound of a gong.

His eyes were grey as grey could get,
And brush his teeth? He could never forget.
Brown hair was cut to the nape of his neck,
When people saw his crown, they cried, ‘What the Heck!’

For his crown had jewels, gems and gold,
And a platinum frame was enough to behold.
Velvet nightgowns and silk robes,
And golden earrings dangling from his earlobes.

Orders he did not like to bark,
But sometimes he’d order at lunch a shark.
He kept at home a pet lark,
Who had a name; his name was Mark.

So now you know all about the King,
But I forgot to mention that he wears a ring.
He has ten horses and two stables,
And not to mention his famous antique wooden tables.

He keeps on those tables,
Books filled with fables,
And just so you know,
He had a sailboat he liked to row.
