Change in Heart
I don't know how it happened,
I just know that it's true.
Before I knew what hit me,
I fell in love with you.
We started out just writing,
then chatting every day.
Poured out our thoughts and feelings,
till our love showed us the way,
and this love I can assure you
is forever and a day.
True Colors
Doesn’t it seem like the one you love,
Is the one that makes you cry the most?
Doesn’t it seem like when the rain falls,
You’re always crying with the heavens.
And what about the knight that’s always shining?
When in reality, the villains always win.
Can anyone tell why these things are true,
When all you want to do is reign in triumph?
Why do we always lose,
When we have so much to win?
Well I can think of a few reasons.
We push away the ones we love,
and we try to change ourselves to fit in,
but never truely do.
So in order to shine, win, and triumph.
We must truely show our true colors.
