Teen Night was last night! Everyone was quite in the Valentine's Day spirit, might I ad! Started off with a bang, and ended on a lower keyed note. Still, overall it was a fantastic night that I wholly enjoyed.

First off, I handed over the cards for Michael's deck. My god, his new deck kicks a**! I dueled against him twice, and lost both times. Once he gets those combos rolling, it's hard to clear his field to get him in a position for attacking. Move after move you see him building up an impenetrable wall of unyielding MERCILESSNESS. Crystal Beasts do indeed rock! My decks held up nicely, though. I'll have to study his techniques; the flaw with going against his deck is simply this: at time's he'll completely dump your current field with cards (lightening vortex, anyone?), so I'll need to prepare to loosing my entire plan of attack and dwindling down to a few cards in my hand.

I showed everyone my drawings last night. Hoping to god that I didn't suck, apparently I got good reviews! I showed everyone one of my favorite ones- a demon (one of my main character's, my half demon's, chosen breed and form) from my book; I did bring a few chapters, also, last night. However, seems a lot of people just didn't want to look at it or read it. The few who did thought it was confusing. Then again... they only read a chapter or so. Ah, well, better luck next time!

Also, my drawn dragons went off as a big hit. I drew three from my past creations of the buggers. I had to make a story in school, a fantasy, and I created a handful of dragons. I drew two from the four: both of the Western dragon style, one was a main fire breather, and the other one was a Celtic Highlander one (equipped with a Scottish/Irish/Welsh accent that I can, indeed, write out in text).

I'm thinking about, if I get any better and more confident, about taking commissions from my friends (for free or something; yes, that defeats the purpose of a "commission", but who cares!), asking what kind of dragon they want, and I'd draw it for them. What I NEED to do is draw a Eastern Dragon before I feel safe enough to do that.

I let some of my friends draw in my main sketchbook! I still have that page, I'm keeping it forever. It's a reminder of my friendships with everyone, and what a great night it was.

Speaking of drawings, I need to try and finish my Fennec Fox today and start on another demon.

I sucked badly on Super Smash Brothers last night. And when I mean badly, I mean, "HOLY HECK what was I ON?!". My nerves just weren't with it, and my mind was preoccupied with the random people screaming around me. When my focus looses it's luster, then I fail epically.

Amongst the talk of Anime, drawings, books and whatnot, it was a pretty eventful day. Like I mentioned before, however, it dwindled down to a lackadaisical end. It was a bit of a downer. I think we all felt it. I mean, we always look forward to that one day of the month, and it passes by so quickly.

And now, to finish this entry.... I usually hate Valentine's Day. It's a dark reminder, a sadistic anniversary for me. However, this year was COMPLETELY different. When I went to Teen Night last night, for example, I wasn't expecting the sweet thing Michael did for me.

He had gotten me this beautifully wrapped chocolate heart in a plastic box, tied with gold elastic ribbon! This is the first Valentine's Day gift, from a guy and not a family member, I have ever gotten- seriously!! It really surprised me, I wasn't expecting anything like that! The heart stayed intact just long enough for my parents to see it, and then I almost demolished it in a hungered fervor last night. heart

I had found a stuffed fox for Michael, and I gave him that as his Valentine's Day gift. They little guy was so adorable- and quite accurate for a plushie. The colorings and markings were dead on; hope he likes it!!

Now I'm off to do crazy, random things. Talk to ya'll later, it's about time I get this day on the move.
