That's the bruise as it was Monday morning.



This is the bruise as it was this morning. Like most bad things, it looks even worse off camera and upclose.

I told Dad about it yesterday. He flipped out at Eric. Next time is the final straw, apparently. Is anything happening about it this time? Doesn't look like it.

I showed Kim. "Oh, sweet mother of tap dancing twobyfour wearing Christ!"

I'm trying to be light-hearted. Humor is how I deal with things, otherwise I crack and turn into a sniveling little baby. However inappropriate, I've been cracking jokes left and right about beastiality, dead babies, race, and inbred rednecks today and yesterday.

Because of where it is, how bad it is, and the fact that I'm two days late is making for a very paranoid Jess.

Tomorrow morning, I'm scheduling an appointment to get it looked at. I hate going to the doctor, I don't truely want the family to get ripped up again, I don't want to know if something's wrong. I just want the doctor to tell me I'm just paranoid and that's no where near anything important.

I'mma go play The Scotsman's Kilt and go call Sarah back. heart

I asked Dad about getting an appointment for it. As expected, he said it didn't look that bad and said it was probably nothing and I really didn't need to go. Normally, I wouldn't even bring up going to the doctor, but this time, I felt the need. Mostly, because it hurts on the inside. Not cramp hurt -- broken hurt.

He wants to protect Eric. If it was any other guy that'd made a bruise like this, that guy would be in jail by now.

"Dad, I'm two days late, and it looks like I'm bleeding from my tube..."
"I seriously don't think anything is wrong, it's just a bruise. Bruises always look a big worse a day or so afterwards."
"Kim says that bruises on different parts of the body are more serious, like, on parts with more tissue, like when Paul picked Kim up by her boob and threw her against the wall and left a bruise on her boob, that was a serious bruise. Logically, where there's more stuff than mammory glands and fat, it'd make sense for this one to mean something bad..."
"I think you're overreacting Jess."
"Dad, my STUFF HURTS. If Eric had a big ol' red and purple bruise on his nuts, you wouldn't do s**t about it and tell him to walk it off?"
"No, because that's more sensitive on a guy than it is a girl."
"What the ******** dad? Does it cross your mind that HEY, those are organs that shouldn't get ******** WITH? That maybe I'm BROKEN?"
"Jessica, calm down."
"Dad, I hurt on the inside, okay?"
"Alright."
"And I'd like to go to the doctor, get it checked out."
"You know DEFACS is just gonna get involved in our lives again, do you want that?"
"I just wanna go to the doctor, Dad. I just wanna know that I'm okay."
"I don't think anything is wrong and that you're over reacting, but I'll schedule an appointment with Dr. Snapperman tomorrow morning."
"Thanks dad.."
"You're welcome, bye. -click-"

God, I wish he wouldn't act like I'm the bad guy this time...
