instinktivly the fur along my neck puffed out.that's rainClans medicine cat Brooketail. whispered Goldpool, stepping outside of the nursery to stand by me.pleaz whitestar! u hve to help my clan, mre than half of the clan hve already drownd!pleaded the medicine cat to my father. he thought 4 a mometn then said , nightpaw! ur 1 of the fastest in the clan, i want u,stonefang. flamepelt and owlpelt to go and help rain clan.i nodded and stonefang looked at me and said,go on ahead, ill wke up flamepelt and owlpelt.then, turning, he headed off in2 the warriors den. i ran after brooketail, who was already dissapearing into the tunnnel that guarded the camp entrance. pleaze hurry! starcloud is going to give birth and i hve to b there! i ran even faster and suddlenly cme to a skidding halt wen i saw wat lay at the esdge of the cliff. below it was filled with raging gray water only a few taillengths away.will it reach the camp? i asked brooketail, but she had already scurried off toward a heavily pregnant white she-cat.*hiss*i looked beside me to c stonefang and the others coming beside me.will it reach the camp i asked firepelt who was closest. no, the rain has stopped now.
REDSTAR! yowled the white she cat brooketail was fussing ovver.

just then, i looked into the water and saw a dark red abby head poke up out of the water.i didnt wait, i jumped in and grabbed the scruff of the toms neck.i pulled him to the edge and owlpelt pulled him onto the bank. then, i dove back into the water. i hadnt paddled long wen something furry touched the bottom of my pad.i dove in and grabbed the scruff and pulled out a golden brown tom. i pulled him to the bank also and owlpelt helped me again, then, again, i dove back in, this time heading 4 a silver gray tabby. i grabbed the she cat and pulled her up to the red tabby who was helping firepelt pull a white gray apprentice out of the water.mother! mother! squeled the apprentice. hush frostpaw, ur mothers right here. he beckond to the tabby in my grasp. silvergaze!!! she squeled. i put the mother on the bank, the got out of the freezing water. thats everyone. said the red tom sadly.thank u. rain clan will never for...
he never got to finish for the strong current pulled firepelt under and dragged him away.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! i yowled, and not thinking, i dove in after him.
