I just found out something. If me and my boyfriend get a house together, and we put it under both of our names, we could be in big trouble if we break up. So either he puts his name on it or I do and nothing bad will happen... I think.
This was why I was reluctant to get a house. I'd rather try to live together in an apartment and if it doesn't work out, the only thing we have to lose is a little apartment, not a huge house. That and if he signs his name on it, he gets stuck with the mortgage and if I sign to it, I'm stuck with the mortgage. I don't want to sign it because I don't wanna get stuck with the house if we separate, but I don't want him to sign it because then he'll get stuck with the house. Augh!!
