YOU'RE vs. YOUR You're is short for "you are". Example: You're a nerd. (You are a nerd.) Your is possesive. Example: Is this your pencil? Is this that difficult? 	You forgot "ur". That is terrible writing. It can stand for "you're" "your" and "you are" which no word should be able to do. It goes against the laws of grammar.
