The ground finally thawed out enough for Dad and I to bury my dwarf hamster Reepicheep this afternoon. I wanted to put him in a coracle and sail his little funeral ship down the creek near our house, but that wouldn't be environmentally friendly to the local drinking water. It would have been fun to picture him sailing over the End of the World like his namesake, although I don't think the Little Walnut Creek would have borne him there.
