Ms. Sargent liked it. Yay. Maybe I'll post it later if I feel like it, in case you all want to read the gruesome and gore filled tale of Hiroshima, Japan, where hundreds of thousands of people died. But before that, they were in terrible pain, which I explained quite nicely, I believe. mrgreen

Yep. Oh. And I was feeling my eyes in English, Shannon asked what I was doing, and I said, "I'm trying to imagine the white hot pain of hooking a finger into my eye socket and popping out my eye."

Chloe: "I don't think it would come out. It's attached by the optic nerve."
Shannon: "That would be painful.."
Me: "It would come out if you were stupid enough to wrench out your own eyes. It's a nerve; not a muscle. It's attached by that one big nerve and nothing else, so it can be taken out of the socket. You could easily pull out your own eyes if you wanted to. You'd just faint from the excruciating, indescribable pain."
Chloe: "True.."
