MXM: 1.4: Paige
u was sitting there reading Breaking Dawn.
An average morning. i was also waiting for the van.
i was hearing the T.V. on in the living room as my dad was watching the news.
"man, this s**t was bad. and all those kids...F***** up"-Dad
i walked in the living room to see what had happened to make my dad curse more than usual. when i got there, he was on the sofa with one arm hugging over the back and the other on his lap with the remote in it.........he didn;t appear to have said anything but when i looked at the TV, i could see what he was reacting to.
there had been a pile-up accident involving two school buses and some other cars.
i gasped. the scene was horid and my dad said, "damn, i feel bad for the families. maybe i should take Paige of the van."
i said, "NO!" and he looked at me blankly. he said, "what is it?"
and i said, "nothing"
i then heard my mom say in the kitchen, "she should have decided to go to Blace Academic. if it wasn't for that Brian kid, she would have."
i then realized with my own ears that my mom didn't say a word.
i couldn't realize which was more frightening: the fact that the car accident involved 2 buses, one of which could have had my classmates, or the fact that i was hearing people's thoughts.
