When you're an adult, do you think you're too old to celebrate your birthday?
Personally I don't think so. You don't have to be a child in order to celebrate anything in general. If its fun and legal x3 then do it. I think that life is too short for that sort of thinking. No one can tell you that you're too old to do certain things in life. Like dressing up for Halloween. Who says only children can dress up for that? I don't see a rule saying "for children only."
I can't live with the thought of ever being too old to celebrate my birthday. Its a special day and no matter what age you are, even if you're fifty, its meant to be enjoyed and remembered and celebrated with the people you love and care about you.
All my life I have only had one birthday party. But that doesn't mean that, since I'm a few months away from being a legal adult and my first b-day party was when I was ten, that will be my last birthday party. I certainly don't plan on that. Once I make the big move I plan to have many adventures in my life no matter how childish they seem, even if it means having more birthday parties than that one and only one I had when I was a child.
I've had people say I'm too old for video games and other things. Though it upsets me, I don't let it get in the way because I enjoy playing games so that's what I will do.
I personally think people who think this way are people who haven't had birthday parties and stuff when they were growing up. So they're jealous and upset that other's have things that they didn't so they try and cover those feelings up with "you're too old." Its pretty sad when people make excuses like that for why you shouldn't have fun and be happy. People should do anything possible to be happy because happiness is one of the keys to a healthy and good life and keeps your relationships with the people around you strong.
