The history of the Star Spangled Banner My anthem,the star spangled banner,came from a poem writtten a long time ago when this guy was being held prisoner.The tune of my anthem came from a british song.The peom itself had four stanzas but was too hard to remember all of it so we only sing the first stanza.And that concludes my litytle history lesson.
