Unspoken words ring in ear,
and hidden cries lie deep within my soul -
I hope in silence, waiting in eternal darkness,
Longing to feel your embrace.
Longing to hold you in my arms,
longing to feel your lips on mine.
Longing for you…
Caught up in confusion and tears.
I watch you, like the sky watches the earth,
And the sun watches flowers blossom on end,
Waiting, Hoping,
Trying to find the reason why.
Questions -
Endless questions -
that tear at my thoughts,
taunting and ripping at my heart.
Why do I watch?
Why do I love?
Why am I so scared?
And…
Do you love me too?
Flawless, and as pure as snow,
Warm, like the first day of Spring.
For you there’s only one word…
only One that I see.
You lift me high beyond reality;
Your voice echoes throughout my very being,
and my body completely melts at your touch,
and trumpets sound their melodic cords.
I come with sunrise, with you on my mind.
I fall with the moon silently singing a song of you.
