the teddy bear
once there was a teddy bear who was given the ability to think. now he was given to a little girl and the little girl loved the bear she took him everywhere with her but as she got older and started going to school the little girl forgot about the teddy bear and he was left in a corner to collect dust. eventually the girl left and the bear was found by the girl's now ailing mother the mother died and the girl came back and found the bear again and remembered all the times she had with him she took the bear with her passed him down to her daughter and so on until one little girl found out he could think she would look into his eyes and he would tell her the answer to all her questions the little girl took the bear with her everywhere even as she got older and had a job she still took the bear with her the bear loved this girl very much as the girl got older she had her own children and eventually gave the bear to her own daughter. a few years later the woman died and the bear was heart broken. the woman who now carried him looked into his eyes "you loved her. we all did and i bet by now your tired" the girl smiled as she layed the bear into the casket. a single tear ran down the bear's face as he told her thank you and thought no more

Funny how our possessions, ideas, and creations live on for generations.
While our bodies decay from the effects of time and the surrounding world, ideas can flourish and even evolve when thrust into the world.
