Yesterday my poor snail Bubbles passed away, he was a good few years old and I knew that he wouldn't live for very long when I first got him but it is still sad to know he's gone.
Lot's of people hate snails, think they are nothing more than slimy creatures that are no good for anything, but I tell you now Bubbles wasn't like that. He had the most gorgeous shell filled with colours that are even more special because they were unique...they were his. He was slimy, yes, but not as bad as many people have come to think and the only thing he ever needed to make him happy was lettuce.
Is it possible to love a snail?
Look into those stalk like eyes and say no, I dare you! And if you say so you lie, because Bubbie was cute! I loved him so much and I always will!
