Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 14 episodes long....and some oav's and crap. Ahem! 4laugh Okay okay, so i finally watched the anime. Well not all of it, only the episodes that were available on youtube lol. I finally got myself to actually watch the show after juding it before cause i thought it looked lame. Well I must say it's kind of interesting. The story is good, it's a sci-fi, supernatural school life, mystery. And it keeps you guessing and thinking about what's going on with these characters. It's a little funny and I don't really like the fanservice. It's not that much fanservice but i just would be fine without it. The art is....too cute. But other than that it's high quality and shiny and colorful. The show is about a high school girl named...Haruhi Suzumiya! Lol duh, the title of the series. She enters high school and says that she doesn't care about the lives of humans, she's only interested Time travelers, aliens, espers and other paranormal beings. Haruhi gives off this dissapointed attitude because she thinks her life is boring since these beings or people or things havn't existed before her yet. And that exciting events or paranormal mysteries havn't oocured yet or something...i dunno i can't explain too well. sad Ummmm.... So this guy named, Kyon, who sits infront of her talks to her, since everyone else doesn't cause she doesn't want to talk to others. But she'll talk to Kyon lol. So Kyon is like why don't you do what everyone else does and be a regular girl. And she gets mad cause that's exactly what she doesn't want to do in her life. Then Kyon asks her if she's bored why doesn't she join a school club. So Haruhi says she has looked for clubs involving the paranormal and all that crap biggrin lol. And says they don't interest her. Then Kyon gave her the idea to start a club by herself, and she did. It's called the S.O.S Brigade. Characters Haruhi: the main character. She comes off with a "i don't give a crap" attitude and is spontaneous and uninterested with the regular human life. She wants to look for mysteries and stuff out of the ordinary and all that. You could say the whole universe revolves around her. lol Kyon: Haruhi's classmate. A regular guy who questions and comments Haruhi's motives and interests. And is the confused member of the club because all the other members know what's going on with Haruhi. Yuki: She is quiet and keeps to herself. She's...i don't wanna spoil it, an alien. And has powers and saves kyon in one episode against this other alien who was trying to kills him lol. She let's Haruhi do whatever, and just sits and reads books in the club. Mikuru: Ugh, fanservice character to the maxxxxx razz . She's the shy girl who is also the typical ditz. She is the time traveler, and is from the future. Itsuki koizumi: Um, he's the other guy in the club. He's a transfer student. He's calming and laid back and just goes along with whatever haruhi wants to do. He's the "esper" and has powers toooo.....yep. lol So yeah, that's all I'm gonna say about this anime. It's okay, obviously very popular and well-known amongst anime fans. If ya havn't seen like millions of cosplays out there. Too common. lol And there's the dance. Okay, so i know how to do the dance too lol. Don't judge me!!! by the way i saw the English dub, the English dub is pretty good considering Haruhi's voice is the same voice actress who played TK in Digimon lol. So it sounds weird to me.
