This confusion with in me
Is nothing but pain on my soul.
Yet nothing but hope in my soul.
It’s the hit of reality for my dreams.
The unwontedness...
The unloved...
The unnoticed...
The pit I’ve fallen in,
When I look up
I see only one face,
The face of my creator.
In his face is love,
Understanding, and peace.
But no one else,
They may see but they don’t care
They may see little
But they won’t try.
One new face is all I want.
