My Love Life
By Meg
I smile when there are
tears to be shed.
I laugh when someone
stabs me in the heart.
And when I have a crush,
I shy away from the pain.
The pain of the fact
that no one sees me.
All they see is my shell.
My skin, my imperfectness.
They don't look past to see,
that I gave my heart
to them long ago.
That the Lord fills me
with more love than i can hold.
But when He gave Eve
that longing for her husband.
It past down through women to me.
A hole in my heart that the
Lord put there for one.
But it cries out to my soul still.
And not even one has tried to fill.
