So mi madre went to the hospital for a checkup.

And as she suspected, she had skin cancer.

BUT DON'T WORRY.

She caught it early so all they have to do is use some ointment to kill the mutated cells.

Cancer is kind of interesting really, in the fact that your body conjures up mutations that could end up killing you.

But my mom's not half as sensitive to the sun as I am.

So what's gonna happen to me, when I blister in the Maine spring sun after an hour?

It's all very depressing to think about, really. Once I get over my curiosity.

First I have to finish Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony. Very interesting. I really love reading books about smart-a** genii.

There was this prodigy on the telly today. She started reading at eight months, and graduated from fourth grade to college. She graduated college at fourteen..

I got sick with jealousy. sad

And then I was depressed. sad

Sigh...

And now I've got all these French, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese verbs/sayings/adjectives/nouns swirling in my head. And now Artemis is in Taiwan and I'm reading all this Taiwanese...

I feel like there's more estranged words in my head than English. x.x

But I do love languages. So it's okay. biggrin
