HATE MY F*#%!&@ JOB!!!
I hate that no one is willing to pay for customer service anymore. You want to know why your customer service is lousy these days? Tech support, Insurance, electronics helplines, etc. It's because bad customer service is more cost effective, and because everyone is too impatient to wait 5 minutes for someone to get to them.
My job satisfaction level actually comes from helping people, which usually takes some time. This is Inversely proportional to my production. The reason people sound like idiots on the other end of the phone is because it gets you frustrated. Frustrated people usually go away and so the least helpful people to the customer actually make their call volume metrics and get the best annual raises.
In short, I have just laid out for you the dirty little secret of every inbound call center on the face of the Earth. The reason you get such shoddy, inattentive, and unsympathetic service, is because you are neither willing to pay, nor wait for even decent customer service.
