story version of last entry
She walked through school as if any other normal day but something felt different. She went through the whole school day and nothing was special about it. She went to the mall with her friends because it was Friday and they planned it a week in advanced. As they got ready to leave she saw her old friend who is about three years older than her in the parking lot. She held her finger up in a sign telling her mother to wait one minute. She walked over to him and gave him a friendly hug. He talked to her for a while and then they both smiled and walked away. She wanted to tell her friends now but he asked if she would wait a couple days until he got ungrounded. The days went by and so far everything went smoothly. She knew the relationship was good and she wanted everyone to know. So today She decided to walk over to her friends after visiting him to tell them the news. She walked over to his house but as she got to the door she could hear yelling. She thought maybe if she hugged him he would calm down. She opened the door and she walked over to him but he immediately slapped her in the face. She fell to the floor as her tears fell down her cheek. She stood back up and held her check wincing every time she moved her hand. “why” was the only thing she could say until he smashed a glass bottle against the counter and dropped it. Shards of glass went everywhere. she didn’t like it when he was mad. She walked over to him and tried to sit down, but all he did was slap her again. “I’m sorry” she said repeatedly as she sat on the floor like a dog. She tried to speak but when she did he glared at her and she knew he wasn’t going to let her. “I’ll come by later” she kissed his check quickly and left. As she walked out the door she realized the bruise on her cheek was very viewable. She decided she didn’t wasn’t people to know she could handle it by herself. So she walked all the way home and never went to her friends knowing they would but in if she told. She walked in the door and immediately her parents asked her about the bruise. “I ran into the wall” she replied as she faked a laugh. Though looked concerned they believed her and let her be. She walked past the stairs she looked at the computer. She didn’t want to go on. She looked at the television. She didn’t want to watch. She walked upstairs and lay on her bed wincing as the bruises took the impact. She sat there in her bed all night long and fell asleep with tears in her eyes.
She thought that she would have been able to take care of him herself but she was wrong she walked over to his house the next day. He seemed calm at first but when she had to leave he asked if she could stay. She said she couldn’t because of what time it was. He yelled at her angrily and shoved her against a wall. She cowered in fear as he aggressively held on to her arm. He gripped her hard enough he broke through the skin and she started to bleed. “If you’re going to leave then leave forever” he yelled as he slammed the door in her face. She walked back to her house and she clenched her bloody arm. She was relieved when she got home that her parents were gone. She walked inside and headed for the bathroom. She found a first aid kit and immediately bandaged her arm. It hurt her a lot but to keep from anyone finding out she took pain meds acting as if they were prescription drugs. They made her drowsy enough that she slept at school. Her teachers were worried she got no sleep but in fact she got plenty. Her friends always thought it was funny she slept in class, but like her parents wondered why she always had so many bruises. She wondered if she would ever break up with him. He scared her she wanted him to just go away though like a bad dream. When she got home she got a call from him. it was an apology like all the other times “I’m sorry Hun I didn’t mean what I did I love you it will never happen again” yet it always happened again. She accepted his apology every time because she knew it wouldn’t be good if she didn’t. The next day she went over to his house and the same thing happened. She walked inside right after a fight with his parents he rushed over and knocked her to the floor and stomped out the door. She stood up nodded to his parents who just stared at her and she left as if nothing happened. From then on she started to see him less and less until he was gone forever. 3 months they dated. She went through the pain and torment without anyone (her friends or parents) knowing. It was like it never existed but the scars on her body proved it was real.
