"And I need a vacation from this psycho family," Dragon said as Rose left. "Shalimar, Wynn, Ette, Nate, Xink; you five lock the ABC and ABCDE in the attic until I can figure out what to do about them."
Kaida said, "But--"
"You knew what TIkkit was doing yet did not think it was prudent to tell me," Dragon said, looking at the gwee. "All of you are on house arrest."
Turning to n**, Dragon said, "Go back to the ship and tell everyone to disembark. Get Rhonabwy to remove the ice prisons around Nogard and Larkin."
Turning to Xangord, Dragon said, "Go to the basement and try to get Nissa back online."
"What're you going to do?" Xangord asked.
"Get some peace and quiet away from the family," Dragon said. "You're in charge until I get back."
Before Xangord could stop her, Dragon extended her wings and took off.

A Roused Dragon
Listening to Taran's excuses, Lord Avondale steepled his fingers in front of his face and looked at the ground. Quietly, coldly, Lord Avondale asked, "After you saw what had happened with Wynn, you doubt the dead can come back to life?"
Lowering his hands and looking up sharply at Taran, Lord Avondale shouted, "TARAN, DRAGOON OF LOFWYR, ARE YOU A COWARD?!"
Lowering his voice again, Lord Avondale said, "I expect you to do nothing but to help me bring them to somewhere safe. Dragon's house is far too dangerous for them. Will this be a problem for you?"
