The Trinity Trend
An old story made by a friend and I, brought back to life about the trials and triumphs of being an assistant at one of the most renowned fashion magazines in the world.
~Prologue~

Kaitlyn Trinity, better known as Kate, trotted down the crowded streets of Manhattan wearing the latest Jimmy Choo high heels and Louis Vuitton purse. As she was walking, she was turning heads, because anyone who was anyone knew who Kaitlyn Trinity was. She was one of the richest people in America, always on the best dressed list in social events, and owner of one of the biggest fashion magazines on the planet: The Trinity Trend. Her shoulder-length blonde hair bounced gracefully along with her body, and her rythmic footsteps of a fashion model caused every citizen along the streets to give a second look. She had heard that she had to interview a new accomplice today.

"Great," she thought, "Another hyper lackey who thinks she's famous because she sharpens my pencils."

Kate had never liked interviewing people. It took up too much time when she should be working on her newest line of clothing or the next runway show. She didn't have time to sit and chat with the simple people who are either too nervous to even talk or are too dumb to even make any sense.

She walked through the golden and ivory-trimmed rotating doors, and was showered by "Hello, Mrs. Trinity"s and "Good morning, Mrs. Trinity"s. She completely ignored them, just like any other day, and walked into the elevator and pressed "penthouse". The elevator was slow today, so it took a full three minutes just to get up to her office on the top floor. She took off her gigantic fur coat and tossed it to the nearest lackey, almost knocking her down completely. She motioned to her assistant, Lilliana, to go get her sketchbook and "the binder", and sat down in her big, black leather chair. Lilliana rushed over and placed the sketchbook in front of Kate, and the binder on a desk near her. It was going to be a long, busy day at the office today, as Kate had to get everything ready for the runway show that was supposed to introduce "The Trinity Trend" fashion magazine in Milan. She had a lot to do, and she didn't have time to be having idle chitchat with some newbie. One of her personal co-workers, Faye Thompson, knocked on the ivory screen door.

"What?!?" Kate snapped, too pressed for time to talk to anyone.
"Umm.... sorry, ma'am, Mrs. Trinity..... ma'am. I'm sorry! But....." Faye. What a nutjob. "Umm..... I just thought that you might like to know that...."
"Spit it out!" Kate yelled.
"Your accomplice is here!"

NOTE: Just something for you guys who didn't read the journal description, this story was not only made by me, but also by my friend. All of the prologue and half of chapter one were made by both of us, so I can't take credit for it all. Just so you know.

er... A few corrections from the start:
    It's Katherine, not Kaitlyn
    Ms. Trinity, not MRS.
Faye was one of the Trinity Girls
and... er... apart from that good job.

From what I have written in my journal that I created when we created this story, it's Kaitlyn.

I've written "Mrs." too many times now to change it.

Faye IS one of the Trinity girls.
