So, I just beat Baiten Kaitos. Both disks. I completed the star map. I completed the family tree. And my game says I clocked in at a little over 100 hours. 3nodding
I've had the game for quite some time, but I got seriously stuck at one point halfway through, and gave up on it. So it's been sitting around collecting dust until a couple of weeks ago, when I became determined to defeat it.
I have to say, though, I really suggest it. It has a very intricate plotline, that pulls the player in as a character all to themselves. The characters in the game are aware that the player is someone different from the main character you spend most of the game controlling. And the ending was great. Everything wrapped up, and everyone got a happy ending. I only really have one major complaint with it. You give your name at the begining, but the characters can't say it because it, obviously, didn't have any programmed speech for it. That and the graphics on the trailer (which can be seen as the intro before the main menu on the first disk) are spectacular. However, the games graphics only decent. But, as I told my mom, I would rather have an execllent plot and low graphics, than the other way around.
The best point in the game though, has to be (major spoiler, don't highlight unless you've saved the person you lose in the Lava Caves) when Kalas, rips off one of his wings of heart to save himself from Malpercio's control.
