Huntress Chapter 2
Chapter Two: Disbelief
"That was so stupid of me", she screamed to her warrior as he helped her up, noticing she was still dazed by the Dark masters appearance. "Calm down, Huntress. I need you to tell me are next move", he said hoping it wouldn't just anger her more. But she surprising just sat down into the snow and said "Your right my dear warriors, but how can? You know we have to know h…his…, she paused a second to remember his eager eyes that had laid upon her but then shock her head violently, desperately wanting to clear the unexplainable longing she felt for him; her heart uncontrollably aching to see him once more."Weakness", she finally finished, wishing her dear friend would understand. But no word came out of the warrior's mouth and they didn't need to, for he just pressed his soft fur against her cheek that was still icy cold from the snow as she began to sob amongst the darkening sky. "We must find a place to rest", he finally whispered in her ear (they never using the word "sleep" for it would usually be only a few hours a day) and she nodded briskly shaking off the snow from her hand-woven jacket. She lightly got on his back without another word and pressed her face gently against his neck; comforted by all the memories that formed into her head. For as they rode off into the distance she wished she could deny it but what she had shared with the hunter was nothing other then the thing she was forbidden to do; love.
