So my mom brought me out for my big 21st!
We didn't go out yesterday, but today we had some fun!
First, we went to Kelly's Pub (a pub she had wanted to go to for the last twenty years or so).
There, I had my first LEGAL drink -> a shot of Jagermeister... it was stronger than Aguardient {fire water} but not bad. The I had a draft ale (ten Penny Ale to be exact). It was a local brew, and it was okay, but the after taste was bitter.
The old woman working the bar (CC I think her name was) wa nice, but so prejudiced against African Americans... psh... still, we stayed 'til half time of the Celtics/Lakers game. I'm not a big sports fan, but I guess I'm rooting for the Celtics ('cuz my mom said so XD)
Next we went by the Hungry Tiger, but it was full of people my mom didn't like so we moved on to the Main Pub ^-^
That place was NICE. I got carded! I was so happy! ^-^ The ambiance inside was cool and calm and comfortable and sophisticated. And screw grammar, I'm buzzed and tireddd XD.
But the bartender was really nice, and i ordered my mom a Calypso coffee. It took me a while to decide for me though... eventually I got a sort of raspberry margarita... I can't remember the exact name, but it was good! I then commenced to teach my mother how to play sudoku ^-^
During that, the live entertainment came on! It was wonderful, almost Beatles-esque XD
All in all, it was a fantastic time out, and i had/have a pleasant buzz. It's wearing off now, but that's okay. ^-^ I'm going to bed now anyways ^-^
