I had to choose the courses that I will be taking next year last week. I've had everything planned out for a long time, and I am so happy that I am able to take everything that I wanted. That's the outlook for now, at least.
I will be taking music with a close friend of mine. We'll pretty much spend the whole year learning how to play guitar. I MIGHT get an electric. My acoustic was taken away from me because of family issues and my cousin being money crazy. Honestly, they say I can have her. But I didn't buy strings for another guitar they had and they don't pay me for babysitting...and then take the guitar away. But, I'll be earning around 4,000 dollars this summer so screw the hand me down acoustic, I'll get a good guitar.
I'll be taking a writing course with alot of people in the school.
And I will be taking history. As it looks now...I shall be the only one in the school taking history. I am SOOO excited. You cannot fathom. The only thing is, people are saying that history is a hard course and I will begin to hate it by the 2nd or 3rd chapter. Well, their skeptical attitude will only drive me to work harder. Just to prove them wrong. Plus, my dad gave me a pep talk over the phone saying I should not listen to other people. They haven't taken the course, so maybe all thsoe horror stories of people failing are of people who were REEEEALLY dumb. x3
All the other subjects are required and nothing special. Math, biology, english.
I'll have a FREE SLOT. This mean a period in my time table will be free and for me to work on whatever. Things like homework or to study. I'm so glad.I think I'm the only one in the school who has one of those as well. x3
