summer academy is NOT a summer school
today i went to this place called summer academy for the first day. and no, summer academy is NOT a summer school. its only one class for 4 hours and its a class of your own choosing out of several classes. and also it's an invitation (as my mom put it) if you're a "smart" i chose a writing class and you get to go in the computer lab there (or maybe there are more... way more... computer labs...) ok, but anyways, you need to have a memory stick where you edit or keep writing on a story on your memory stick that you bring. i just edited my story a little bit. it was a story that i started to write and hadn't worked on in a while. i had some issues cuz my docs were a newer version of the computer program and the school had a crappy older version. but whatever, this one lady named sherry was able to make it work...
so yeah, the first day was ok. i also went to summer academy last year and i thought that was fun (that was also a writing class... i'm so broke on interests... shame...) in this class though we also get to send some stuff to publishers ( sweatdrop ) and get to go on field trips to see publishers.
so that's what i have to about that. until next time...
