ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
We're not gonna take it!
SCHOOL IS OVER!!

Yay.

Got an 88% on AWC. Pretty sure that's what I got on the midterm too...

Think I did okay in Spanish.

Think I got an A in English.

Don't even want to THINK about Science..

Today was great. So many good points. Maybe the best part was Mikey's mom's face when he brought six girls home, or when some homeless guy came and started talking to us in the park, or when Frank said, "Your boyfriend's a tool" about Ry-Ry when he saw my jumbo Valentines Day card?

xd

OML, I want to tell Ry-Ry and yet I don't think I could without dying...someone else do it..... rofl

The dude in the park was so abnormal. Maybe it's just my rural Topsham mind set speaking, but usually people with no teeth and carrying a beer and a lighter don't come up and sit with a circle of teenagers. He offered Mikey a cigarette and then a gun. eek Then he started recounting these stories...

Story Number 1: A seagull grabs his lighter and puts it on the top of a street light.

Story Number 2: He puts on facepaint for Halloween, even his hair, and then meets a pretty girl in a bar...then he started whispering so I couldn't hear...

Story Number 3: A wolf comes and tries to bite his leg off, so from then on he's not scared of s**t.

Story Number 4: Too much whispering...

His voice was so hoarse from his smokes and I don't even think he realized it. But I put on my it's-old-people-I've-got-to-look-like-I-seriously-care face. I can actually do it pretty well, and then I thought of why and I figured it out. I think I find old (and crazy people) pathetic. I pity them.

Then I felt like a b***h because I was sure acting like one..

Finally we escaped when I asked Randi for the time and then jumped up, saying I had to meet my mom. Valerie reacted very nicely. 3nodding

Of course, IT WAS A LIE.

But I felt that you all couldn't shut off your ears and just smile like I can (I've got a lot of practice, a lot of people I'd rather not listen to...) so I snatched the initiative and rolled with it. Especially Mikey. He looked like he was about to saw off his leg...

But that dude called himself an "Untouchable". How deep is that? I can't stop thinking about that description. If I ever meet him again, I'll [probably] thank him, because that is most definitely going into my story..

Just so you know, I caught on that it was a lie. When you were like, "MY MOM'S PICKING ME UP" and I was thinking, "Didn't you say you were going to call them...?"
I just wouldn't have been able to start the lie. crying

Isn't it great that because of AWC we know what an Untouchable is? Could you imagine if that had happened LAST year, and how we wouldn't have gotten the historical reference, even if he didn't?
