First day of Summer.... KAPOW!!
Ahh, summer... unfortunately, here in New England, it's never summer until like, July or August. Ew. I mean, last night when I went to sleep, it was raining out, and this morning was freezing and wet at the beach. My dad has this whole thing with first day of summer celebrations, so in short, we all went to the beach with a huge group of friends, and the kids of the group thought we were surprising the adults of the group with water balloons being chucked at them, but my dad double-played us, and the adults started attacking the kids too! And they had WAY more water balloons and squirt guys than we did. Rawr. But the most unfortunate part of all this was that we got up at 3:00 in the morning to go to the beach to pull all of this, and we didn't even see the sunrise because it was way too cloudy. >.>
Soo. The thing about this summer is all: "WTPF?!?". I mean, I'm leaving the school that I've gone to for the past 8 years. This is like, my HOME AWAY FROM HOME. The students are even friends with the teachers there. It's the creepiest thing, but I've grown up used to that sort of thing. Hahhh. It just doesn't even feel like I'm not going back, I just can't wrap my head around it.
So so SO weird.
