Hey Eveyone, which I know not alot of people will read this, I finally decided that I would try to put one of my storys on here. I have a few boring things to say though before you begin. This story is a story I made up, I believe 2 years ago, which I wrote in a little journal, even so I am still editing and changing it to this very day, so later on you may see word changed around and sentences flopped, but it will most likely have pratically the same content. Also though the main Character, Zarame, and my gaia avi has nothing alike in this story in any way, beside both having blue eyes. The avi I have is based off of what I look like not the character in this story. One more thing so I do not to overwelm any one I decided to break up my chapers into parts, because some of my chapeters are over 20 pages. Also NO COPYING I AM EXTREMELY SICK OF PEOPLE STEALING MY WORK!! Any way, please Enjoy and Comment, I want to know what you think.

Zarame
Chapter 1
Part 1
The Story Begins

Hello my name is Zarame Henuel. I was 13 years old and I lived in the valley next to Malidor Mountain when this story began. I had shut the gate, finished my choirs for the day, and had started walking back to my house. The road was beaten because I had always walked it daily to take care of the cows; feeding them, checking them for health problems, and herding them daily up Malidor Mountain to the lake at the top. I also always played with the dragons that lived there, but sadly they had to leave when the winter cold set in. Now though, spring had finally arrived and they are said to return soon.

I quickly skipped down the path to my house. I had spent all day doing my choirs and I was starving. As soon I saw my house come into view I ran to the front door and walked into the house and I wondered what my father had cooked tonight. The answer came to me as soon as I walked in. I could just smell the fresh aroma of beef stew coming from the kitchen as I slipped off my mud-covered boots.

“Hey Dad,” I said as I walked into the kitchen, “What is for dinner tonight?” I already knew what it was, but for his sake I asked anyway.

I saw my father stirring a pot over a stove. “It is beef stew!” he said happily.

I smiled, rolled my eyes and sat at the table. I was always right.

“Your mother is out training, again. She said that she will probably take you training after dinner.

My mother was great with both of our family’s heirlooms, the Ice Whip and the Earth Sword. The Ice Whip and Earth Sword are but 2 out of the five of elemental weapons said to be used to defeat the great demon Lorac, 20 years ago. She was a great demon slayer in her youth and originally only had the Ice Whip. She traveled across Kelkador until she met my father who had the Earth Sword. They soon got married and settled on the outskirts of Negeta Village. My mother continued practicing with the Ice Whip and Earth Sword and occasionally joined fighting contests, winning them all and earning her title “The Ice Queen” and lots of money. She also trained me and taught me all the spells that go along with the Ice Whip. The Earth Sword was another story though. The spells were long forgotten and without the spells it is a normal sword.

It wasn’t long before my mother got home, forgetting to take off her boots as usual. The clumping from them announced her presence before she got to the kitchen along with the slamming of the front door.

My father turned to her with a disapproving look on his face, my father and I both hated the habit for which we were the main house keepers. “Serenity, how many times have I told you to take you boots off before you come into the house?” He emphasized the “before” with disapproval.

“Yeah mom it only leaves more work for me to do!” I pouted.

“Don’t worry I’ll clean up” She looked down at me smiling.

“No you won’t you always find away to sneak off!! Then leave me to do it!” I glared.

She stared at me with a guilty look on her face which turned into a smile, “I’ll clean it up tonight, I promise.”

“Promise.”

“Promise; now what’s to eat, Shawn, I’m starving?!” She rubbed her hands together with a silly grin on her face. I sunk into my chair, she’ll forget, I thought.

My father rolled his eyes this time and smiled, “Beef stew”

Her eyes lit up, “My favorite! Give me a big helping would you!”

“Sure Dear” my father said with a grin, and with that we started dinner.

It wasn’t long though when I remember something that I was meaning to talk about, “Mom; dad; do you know when the dragons are coming back?”

“Probably in a day or so; I mean winter temperatures are gone and they should be back soon.” My mother mumbled as she slurped a noodle.

“Really?”, I said eyes wide I knew they would be back soon, but so soon.

“Sure; and Lyemi will be extremely glad to see you I mean you two are like sisters, raised together and born on the same day and all. I wouldn’t be surprised if they came tonight even.” My mother then slurped up the remainder of her stew and tried to sneak out the back.

“Where do “YOU” think your going?,” my dad scolded, my mother physically wavered and stopped in her tracks, “After all that you are going to leave? Well you still have to clean your dishes and clean the floor as you promised remember?” my father raised and eyebrow.

She sputtered, washed her dishes and marched back inside grabbing the mop and water bucket and went into the hallway. We sat there quietly until she was safely out of the kitchen before my dad gave a chuckle, “I’ve got to hand it to her she may be an expert fighter but is a failure when it comes with cleaning,” he shuck his head, “she is useless.”

“She is also is extremely clumsy. Do you think we should help her before-” suddenly there was a large crash followed be a loading moan, “she breaks something” I sighed and got up and left dad to do the dishes and walked out of the room and into the hallway to see what damage she had done now.
