I laughed because its so true. Hey, I wear leather. But I eat steak too. Get used to it.

Anyway, I am doing fine. Couldn't make an entry yesterday because Jon went over the fair user act thing again! GRRR! What is up with that. I couldn't even get on to read my bloomin' email. I was not a happy mom.

You know, I was wondering how many times a person has to be reminded to do something or not do something. Because you can tell someone something time and time again and it seems like they don't listen. Take for instance asking one of the boys to do a chore, paying him very well in advance at his request so he can take his girlfriend somewhere etc. Three weeks later he starts on the task. Now I wonder if he will finish it tomorrow like he said he would. Its not like I just plain asked him to do it. I paid up front and trusted him to do it. This is a regular thing. But he said girlfriend is coming over tomorrow so I don't think it will get done tomorrow. I once had a very educated man tell me that people had to hear something 6 times before they actually learned something from it. I really think he was right. I had asked him 6 times to do it and I think what he learned was I was about to get steamed. LOL!

George Carlin died. I think it was yesterday but I don't really know for sure. I didn't realize how old he was. He was a very skeptical man. Somewhat synical at times too but you know... there was times when I really liked what he had to say and loved it when he was in Dogma. I think there were several good points he made. He was extreamly intellegent.

You know, my ife isn't all that interesting at this point. I think that is a good thing. When life is interesting you usually don't want it to be. Mostly because it seems like life is a rollercoaster at the time. As we all know, rollercoasters have their ups and downs and are generally created to scare the sh** out of people. They can make you throw up, pee your pants, scream in either terror or excitment, or they can make you want to do it again because you like having the sh** scared out of you.

Looking at my schedual I am really getting excited about the next several weeks. The family reunion this weekend. Fourth of July directly after, the fair not long after that, and then my trip to IL. I can't wait. Unfortunatly I am not looking forward to Jon going back to training right after that. I will miss him. But its good for him. I understand why he wanted to do all of this. I would have too if I were his age and male. Scratch that... just if I were his age. I would have done it too if I were single at his age. I would have signed up for one military branch or the other.
