He watched her from his hiding place. She looked so vulnerable, with that beaten down old horse. She was obviously unarmed. All he had to do was sneak up on her. He knew his moment was coming soon. He felt almost giddy. But then she did something unheard of. She turned and headed down the South Road. Who takes the South Road???

He decided that she must be daft too.
