Well, I'm back! And it was awesome last weekend! blaugh Just because I want to, I'm telling anybody who reads this about my time at the convention, so you'll have to wait for the next chapter.

Anyways, on Saturday my dad drove me over and we arrived sometime around ten, probably. I was cosplaying as Mari from Shaman King, my brother as Faust VIII from Shaman King, and my sister was going as Mint from Tokyo Mew Mew. And my sister(because of how cute she looked in her costume) got her picture taken before we were even registered. ^^ Anyways, we first drifted over to the AMV's, if I remember correctly, after wandering around for at least ten minutes. I stayed there for a while, then headed over to one of the video rooms, where they were showing Love Hina. At lasted for about an hour, and then I went to see more AMV's. I'm addicted to them. ^^

Probably at around 3 something, my dad took me and my sister over to some building, walked around most of it to try and find a pizza place, then waited for our pizza. It was a while, but we went back to the convention building and sat on the grass and ate. While doing so, we noticed that some people who were cosplaying as some characters from FF7 were posing a sort of scene for a bunch of people taking pictures. I would have also taken a picture, if I hadn't been too far away. >.< AFter that, I went to the dealer's room, and bought a couple of mangas. I wanted to get more, but there were so many great things, I couldn't decide what to get!

Anyways, after that I drifted through the halls for a bit more, then went to watch more AMV's. I must say, they took up most of the time there, though I don't mind. ^-^ There was going to be about an hour break after that, until the AMV contest was going on, which I spent drifting through the halls, then sitting on an extremely comfy seat with my sister, while my dad went to get us some ice cream for dinner. Yay, conventions! You get me ice cream for dinner! ^^

ANyways, while sitting there, I got to take my first pictures of cosplayers. I would have done so earlier, but before, I was too shy to go up and ask people if I could take their pictures. ANyways, in my first one I got Sora, Halloween Sora, and Dark Riku from Kingdom Hearts. Then, in no particular order, I got a Yuna, and a Tidus, and an Ed, a Yuffie, and I got my picture taken with my sister by the person cosplaying as Ed. Then, my dad came back. Actually, he came back earlier than that. He came before I took the picture of Tidus, which was the last picture I took that day. ANyways, I ate my ice cream, and about then, the AMV contest started, so we headed over there, took our seats, and waited for it to start. I read a manga while I waited.

And I loved so many of the AMVs! THe one I voted for was 'Still Preoccupied With 1985', cause it was so funny! If you know the song '1985' by, I think my sister said it was the Smashing Pumpkins, I don't know, you'll know what I'm talking about with the next part.

For Springsteen, they had Master Guy from Naruto, for Madonna they had Ayame from Fruits Basket, I can't remember what they had for the Nirvana one, though... For U2, they had Mewtwo, for Blondie, they had Ed with lipstick drawn on, and it was positively HILARIOUS! EVeryone was laughing! I'm so glad that my brother downloaded it onto the computer so I can watch it whenever I'm on! ^-^

After that, we headed home, and I rested for the next day...

When I arrived at the convention the next day, my dad, nor mom, nor sister would be coming along. It was just me and my brother, so we wandered around, my brother was looking for his friends, I was looking around. I got a schedule then, and headed over back to the AMV room, which was closed at the time, and was also where my brother met up with a couple of his friends. AFter a wait, they opened up the room, and the video requests began, and I got to watch them, the opening being Piccolo's rendition of 'I'm A Cucumber'. AMV Hell got shown, and I can remember when a Petshop Of Horrors one came on, my brother yelled out "WHOO!" loudly at the beginning and end, and a few people(there wasn't many in the room) laughed at his antics.

After that, I went to the dealer's room. I had wanted to head over to the showing of D.N.Angel, but my sister wanted me to buy her one of those black kitty thingers. She had given me the money, though I didn't find one. THough I did find one of my friends, which I had seen the other day and glomped, and also I found a Horohoro. I took a picture, and then the Horohoro and I wandered around, as she wanted to introduce me to a friend of her's who was cosplaying as Hao. WHen we finally found her(she was in the last room of the dealer's rooms. FIgures. >.< wink , I got to act silly and I bowed to the Hao. Later, when I got out of the dealer's room, I met up with the Hao again, and took her picture, along with the Sango she was with. I also got my picture taken with Hao, though I should have asked the Sango to take another picture of the two of us with my camera as well... Oh well.

I wandered around a bit more. THere was a cosplay walk-on sort of thing going on, though I didn't really feel like going, and I wandered around some, more, until I finally returned to my darling AMV room, where they were showing all 60-something videos they had. Unfortunately, during the middle, at about 3, my dad drove back from the SCA event the rest of the family was at to the convention, and found me, and told me that we were to return home, as my mom had lost her patience, and wanted to go home. I wanted to stay, of course, though that wasn't going to happen, dammit. >.< So he let me stay until he found my brother. ABout ten or so minutes later, he came back and said, "I have bad news. I found Michael." and so I had to leave. Before I got to the 1985 one... My brother hadn't downloaded it yet, so I was kinda bummed. But, c'est la vie, and I emerged from the AMV room to my mom and sister. My brother had to go the bathroom, and then my dad got my mom a drink. I also spotted the same Hao from before at the vending machines, and a Yoh with her, but she didn't notice me, and we continued onwards, heading back home.

I had a great time. There were only two bad things about the entire thing: 1, it had to end, and 2, I have to wait for a whole year until the next one! Oh well. I still had fun. ^-^

And that ends one of my few actual journal entries in my journal. You know, things that aren't, like songs, or chapters, or....
