Reviewing Games: Love vs. Hate
Team Fortress 2 Medic Update (revised)
'm going to try something different with hopes of getting feedback on the style so that I might work out some kinks and make it more standard. At any rate, this style will work better for the packs as it's much harder to put numbers individual weapons or re-reviewing the whole game to account for new content. Trust me, the reactions are going to be easier on this one.

A brief note on my format:
Rather than strict numerical review, I'm simply going to--sometimes in great length--list and explain reasons for loving the game (positive) and reasons for hating it (negative, for those who don't do well with continuity and opposites). I will give no more than +/- TWO points for each entry under each category

And here we go...

Why I LOVE it.
+2 The Blutsauger is the first weapon you get, and arguable the best new weapons thus far. The only drawback is that there are no critical hits, but that is made up for in health. This feature effectively allows your Medic to dogfight with other classes and come out victorious.

+2 The Ubersaw is the only new weapon, IMO, that competes with the Blutsauger. The only real drawback to this weapon is that you have to complete every achievement in the medic pack to get it, but when you do, the Ubersaw is just as powerful as the Bonesaw, looks badass, and fills your Ubercharge with every hit.

+1 It added life to the Medic as well as the game. I normally didn't play as medic unless I was needed, but the new weapons gave me a chance to explore his capabilities and really understand what makes a medic tick.

Why I HATE it.
-1 You have to get EVERY SINGLE ACHIEVEMENT TO UNLOCK ALL THE WEAPONS, and if that weren't enough...

-1 Some of them are ridiculous. If you are going to tie achievements to weapons, said achievements ought to be achievable by 90% of all players without playing for 50 hours.

Results:
+3 This pack was very nice, and fun overall. Again, Valve didn't HAVE to do any of this, but--aside from the difficulty curve--they did this almost perfectly.
