After a week had passed, Nogard finally exited her room in the wee hours of the morning. Only one others, besides herself were awake at this hour--Flan. Nissa and Nerissa were on standby.

<Hello, Sai Nogard, > Flan said, making herself a sandwich. <It's about time you came out of your room. >

"I know what I need to do," Nogard said. "Will thee watch over the others?"

<It goes without asking, > Flan replied. <May I inquire as to what it is that you seem to need to do? >

"Find proof that Dragon is, somewhere, indeed good," Nogard said. "I would prefer that thee do not tell the others where I've gone or how I've gotten there."

<And where would that be? >

"Gaiaverse."

<Gaiaverse? Never heard of it. >

"I have a feeling it's where I'll find my answers," Nogard said, slipping a opal on a finelink chain out from beneath her kimono. Without waiting for a response from Flan, Nogard broke the opal between her fingers and vanished in a flash of light.
