Well, HE DID IT! He got his liscence and I have already unleashed him on the world by sending him to the grocery store to get a few things on his own. The truck came back intact so its all good. He even got everything on the list and brought back change. What I didn't know is the stupid liscence is now $28. YIKES! Woody thought it would only be $20. I said $24. We were both wrong. I am glad I didn't have to pay that much the first time I got one. It would have been such a waste. That and I never would have gotten the stupid thing. I am such a cheep skate. Probably would have moved into a city with bussing so I wouldn't have to bother with it. After all when I lived in England I did just fine without driving. I usually took buses but I could also get the taxi fairly cheap. I miss that. Here there are no busses but you know that if America got its stuff together they might adapt a simalar type of bussing system in order to save on gas. It makes sense. They might think about dropping the price of train tickets and have more train depots as well and people might utalize the train systems like they do in other countries and like they used to here so that you would have more modes of mass transportation and less fuel being used. Its just common sense but then when have we had any of that here in this country from the powers that be in command? Oh well. <sigh>
I don't know how I am doing on my house right now. I was at 35 earlier today. I am glad. I worked hard on that house. If I keep checking it like I did today and yesterday I will go nuts. I haven't advertised my house as being in the arena.
